Let’s break it out, party in the shade. The new release from Under Electric Light, Never Lose Another Day, is out, and it shines. Shades of Slowdive, a dash of Soul Whirling Somewhere, it’s a sparkly confection of melancholy and haze. A treat for the ears, certain to graduate to regular rotation immediately. But that’s not all! New music from Japan’s Youthmemory, which we’d been near first in line to preorder, but then somehow dropped the ball last weekend. We won’t make the same mistake twice. And, hey! There’s brand new Lowtide! One of the breakouts of 2014 has returned to prove they’re no flash in the pan, thankyouverymuch. Includes a delicious cover of a classic track in our rotation, “Julia” by Asylum Party. Really can’t go wrong there. Plus new music this week from Swervedriver, Spirit of the Beehive, The Churchill Garden, and some dreamy pop from Russia’s Cats Park.

Of course we’re spinning fresh sparkles from Cryuff in the Bedroom, The Lovely Intangibles, Time Spent Breathing, The Poetry Book, Angel Falls, Day Ravies, Shojo Winter, Lust, Cattle, White Poppy, Trementina, Plush, Wipe, The Yellow Traffic Light, Snow in Mexico, Fake Flowers… heck, what aren’t we playing?

New Tracks Weekend kicks off 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continuing through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Live365 listeners: it’s your votes that count! Your thumbs-up / thumbs down ratings determine what is kept in permanent rotation. Listen via the Live365 station page at DKFM, on iTunes Internet Radio under “Eclectic”, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Latin America relay: try Radio Terra. And still commercial-free everywhere! You can even keep up with the new tracks and artists you may have missed: we’re live-scrobbling via our last.fm profile. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed.

Party over here, party over there, woot, woot.
