Bounty. So much new material, Among the stars we celebrate this weekend: the new EP from Collapse (pictured above), and striking new tunes we’ve somehow not been aware of ’til now from Toronto’s Away Forward. New releases abound from All About Rockets, Sonder, Bolinas, Dama Scout, Frankenchrist, dreamswell, Daysee, Creature In The Spiral, Meringue, Nameless Dreampop (actual band name!), Nurse, Pale Shade, Relay Tapes, Tapeworms, Uniforms, Warm, Fuzzy Feeling, Vacations, Wild Meadows (taking a turn toward psych, it seems), Zombie Girlfriend and Lowtide. Plus we’re deep into the new TBTCI compilation celebrating Sara Records. And we’ll plug in some Wozniak classics from last year that we simply hadn’t got hands on yet. That’s remedied, and the listeners win.

And that only adds to last week’s fresh haul, including Angel Falls, Bellavista, Blackflower, Nostalgist, Fawns of Love, Launder (Zachary Cole Smith of DIIV), Night Flowers, Blushing, Echodrone and Crystal Canyon. As usual, more music than time to spin it all for you.

New Tracks Weekend kicks off 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continuing through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM,  on Shoutcast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Plus we have our NEW branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! Or load up the “Internet Radio” tab of your iTunes desktop client, and you’ll find DKFM Shoegaze Radio under ‘Alternative’. You can even keep up with the new tracks and artists you may have missed, as we’re live-tweeting every track on our sub-Twitter DKFMTracks account. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!

Didn’t get the gear you wanted at Christmas? We’ve got it!

Fresh weekend, fresh mix, fresh tune age. New music from everywhere. New double-single from Crystal Canyon (pictured) is worth cheering. New singles from Lebend, Expelled From Space, a charming Moscow Olympics remix (tip of the cap, hale and farewell to Beko Disques, who’ve announced they’re folding their tent after many years of bedroom pop excellence). Plus we’re deep into the new releases from Tape Deck Mountain, Yuragi, Spirettes, Teenage Wrist, Movie Brain, Eyes Behind the Veil, King Woman, Blaire, Moon Loves Honey, Dirty Sidewalks, notme, Anajunno, Terry vs. Tori, Tide Bends, daysee, ‘Parks, Squares and Alleys’, and much more. Finally, we’re pushing the proper debut of Norway’s Sweam. What is this? Self-described as, “hard hitting but soft Oslo-gaze,” it’s a sound and a joy to behold. And you heard it here first.

And that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh tracks, including Linda Guilala, Jaguwar, Ride, Relay Tapes, Honeyhead, Ceremony, Jay Som, Medejin, Plant Cell, Venus in Fuzz, Vyva Melinkolya, and Yeah, Cool. Packed in, pressed down and overflowing.

And if that’s somehow not enough, you can always go back and listen to our Top Shoegaze and Dream Pop Tracks of 2017. The show itself is four plus hours of sonic delights, thanks to listener votes throughout the year via the DKFM app. It finished at #1 on Mixcloud’s Indie Pop chart, and #2 on their Indie Rock chart. If you missed it, well, it’s the best of what we do.

Everything, all at once. It’s that kind of weekend. New music from Figmennt (pictured), Seasurfer, Jesus & Mary Chain, Flirting, Hater, Whimsical (again!), Daysee, Holygram, The Gluts, Moon Loves Honey, Forever Fatale, Coloresantos, Civil Engineer, Cigarettes After Sex, PINE, Trementina, and world broadcast premieres from Slow Crush (you’ll have a quick crush on this one, so say we all), and Fotoform (formerly C’est La Mort), with the full album due next month. Pure sonic bliss, indeed. Much as we’re giddy about all the newness that’s landed this weekend, we’re especially over the moon over these two premieres.

That’s not to neglect last weekend’s fresh berries, including the new Alternative F̷acts compilation, the new LPs from Secret Shine and A Thousand Hours, plus Brooklyn’s Sooner, Peppermint Showers, Crème Fouettée, Spectres, Velveteen, The Beremy Jets, and probably a whole bunch more we’ve forgotten by now. The pressure!

Just when we thought it would be a quiet(er) weekend, fewer new materials released… boom. Much new load-in, much new sparkle. We’re (unsurprisingly) heavily featuring Who Cares About Tomorrow, the new full album from Fawns of Love. We had the distinct pleasure of mastering the final product, and it shines like we knew it would. The new single from Ride beats back most new releases. Two new singles from Brisbane’s Babaganouj rock our socks off. No Vacation returns with a new single, and while personnel changes may have dulled the intensity, hasn’t impacted their tunefulness. New music from Daysee will bend your ears and your knees. New single from Slowly sparkles, as does the new album from Moscow’s Life on Venus. No clue how we’d missed new music from The Mites several weeks back, as we’ve been the ones pushing them for years now. Oversight corrected, we’ll remind you why they rock our pasty little souls. Brand new Delay Trees on deck, plus the epic new EP from 93MillionMilesFromTheSun, grabbed as soon as released. The first singles from the new Sleepwalk LP, Shimmer on tap. Bundled in two stellar tracks from The Wrecking Queens that demand your attention. Plus, we reach back generic flagyl 400 into the archive for some classics from Excuses for Skipping, taking a turn in our rotation. Full packed.

Let’s not forget last weekend’s freshness, including Whimsical, No Joy, Funeral Advantage, Kindling, VENN, King Woman, Froth, Novella, Jay Som, Violentene, Hexagrams, Glasz, Galaxina, Starwheel, The Age of Colored Lizards, Folder, and December Flowers. All of the songs, all of the now.
