New Tracks Weekend, April 30 – May 2

Written by on April 30, 2021

The calendar turns, and we’re loaded for bear. We celebrate the new releases from Piroshka, Ludalloy (pictured above), Un.Real, Daydream Cathedral, Candy, Bathysphere, Last Tourist, and VANDA. But there’s so much more. We’re celebrating the return of Prince Bunny, and new music from White Cold Desert, Vollam, The Sugar Petals, RAINSTEAM&SPEED, Glace, Stacking Pennies, Oceans, Lasitud, kinoue64, Heavenward, and Flowermouth. Plus we’ve got a sneak preview of the new release from CHIVVY, due next week, and we’re spinning up some classics from Juliet Mission, and Spraydog. Truly, we are packed.

And that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including 93millionmilesfromthesun (reviewed here), Tambourina, Sleepwalk, Tape Deck Mountain, Graywave, JAUS, Ellis, The Florist, Sindy, Alles Club, One Hundred Moons,  Golden Death Music, Lavender Blush, Morellas, Talking Violet, You Nothing, Sam Juner, Lógica Estelar, A Place To Bury Strangers, FERS, Adult Books, Separable, After Daylight, Inertial, Faded SF, Benjamin Belinska, and Stay To Sleep. It’s a lot. It’s just …a lot.

New Tracks Weekend is launched at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Icecast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!
