New music sifted, sorted, compacted and presented: New Tracks Weekend features the newest and brightest rising stars. This weekend we’re pushing HuanHuan 緩緩 (pictured above), the debut release from asilomar, the new LPs from Night School, Marble Arch and Bolywool, the hot new singles from Hatchie and New Age Healers, plus new music from Devilish Dear, Nah…, Sasami, Turquoise, browned butter, Visitors, Oceans Over Alderaan, High Climbers, The Blue Herons, Superego. Very Heaven and much more.

And that’s in addition to last weekend’s rotation adds, including Agent Blå, Fragile Animals, She Sir, Ioanna Gika, Phantom Chatter, Dead Sea, Tamaryn, Teen Body, Heavy Heart, Echo November, Mostly Scared, Tijuana Taxi, Foxes in Fiction, American Football, Black Nite Crash, Sadness (radio edited for brevity), Jet Black, Obscenity Plugs, Under Electric Light, Snowball II, Fauvely, The Empty Sleeps, OKO TYGRA, Castoff, Chkbns, Crown of Pity, Snowman and more. We’ve got this under control.

New Tracks Weekend is begun 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM,  on Shoutcast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed.
