New Tracks Weekend, April 9-11

Written by on April 9, 2021

We’re pushing the freshest new music now, and our headliners have earned their status. Kekko (pictured above) dropped their second impressive single on Spirit Goth, and have put everyone on notice: they’re going places. Faience Knife enchants, April June engages, Peach Gardens sparkles, Sleepwalk shines, and Submotile continues to score. So much to celebrate this weekend, including White Ring, The Churchhill Garden, Oh Well Goodbye, Sun Shines Cold, Lavender Blush, Ghosttail (premiere!), Kid Tigrrr, Greenhouse, Cold Heaven, Guest Directors (early sneak preview!), Candy, Distant Images, Gergasi Api, and Drug Store Romeos. We’re doing our part to keep you on the cutting edge.

And that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including Tambourina, Fauvely, Velveteen Echo, Lunation Fall, Moon Museum (premiered here) Holy Ship, Nightcrush, Garage Sale, The Telewire, Hayien, Kali Ma and the Garland of Arms, Shallow Waves, Grazer, Kekko, Hit Like A Girl, Separable, Whimsical, Bellavista, Sky Is Alright, Weathering, 93millionmilesfromthesun, Antonioni, Bolywool, Films on Song, and so much more.

New Tracks Weekend is launched at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Icecast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!
