We’ve got a lot of impressive new music to celebrate this weekend. It begins with the new album from Italy’s Mondaze (pictured above), whose demos we’d been wearing out in these studios. Now fully fleshed out and fabulous, it’s an epic fuzzy treat for the ears. We celebrate the release of the new EPs from GLARE and Horse Show, as we’d been waiting (and waiting and waiting) for them to be unleashed on the world. We’re happy to be sharing new sounds from Blushing, Jetstream Pony, February 31st, Cloakroom, AMMO, Chico Bestia, Hella Comet, Parannoul, Smelter, Royal Arch, Prepare My Glider, Syupeo Jenjang, Runner’s High, SOM, The Blonde Names, Vacant Gardens, Winter of Our Faith, The Haunted Youth, and You, Nothing. And that’s just this weekend’s fresh adds.

And that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including Resplandor, Bridge Dog, Robin Guthrie, Animal Ghosts, Bella Lune, Coyoti, Ellie Meriz, Nax, Pink Milk, shedfromthebody, We.The Pigs, Indoor Voices, Kicking, GRAZER, moodlighting, Odēa Duo 7, The Shacks, Heligoland + She Owl, CECILIA::EYES, infinite vacation, mariin k., Whimsical and so much more. Hard to keep track of it all!

New Tracks Weekend is launched at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Icecast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Limited beta: we’re now up on Mixcloud Live, website AND app, if that’s a thing you’d dig. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support.

EEP – Winter Skin

It’s been a year since their stunning debut album Death of a Very Good Machine and Eep are back with their sophomore release Winter Skin. Bands tend to place a bit more time between albums but with a global pandemic stopping live shows and a band full of creative minds there’s no stopping Eep. The debut album predominately featured the lush vocals of Rosie Varela. This time the band have […]
