New Tracks Weekend, January 15-17

Written by on January 15, 2021

More quality new music than hours in the day. That’s where we are right now. So let’s maximize it, shall we? Headliners include Radio Supernova (pictured above), Arpina, White Flowers, Subterraneos, VAR, Total Drag, Subsonic Eye, Soft Cheese, Spunsugar, blindlace, FRITZ, Graywave, I Mean Us, Hankus, Lazy Eye, Seventeen Years, Leaving Time (impressive debut!), Karate Guns & Tanning, Last Ice, Bloom 604, Sun Shines Cold, Telepathic Traffic, Echo Lake (reissued classics), The Hanging Stars, VBIV, The VanishingLines, and special sneak previews from station favorites Submotile and Cigarettes for Breakfast. I’m not kidding when I say we’re overbooked.

And that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including Isla Invisible, WIDOWSPEAK, Fauvely, Color Crush, Mirror of Haze, Sea Salt, Origami Phase, Necromoon, Crystal Canyon, Pandelume, Mother of Gund, Stay to Sleep, Vicious Blossom, Tired Up, Sungazer, The Pleasure Holes, Tiny Tree, Sicayda, The Raft, Death Stare, Subsonic Eye, Mascara Ashes, Echo of the Low Light, Lunarette, San Pedro’s Vision, Cathedral Bells, and The Reds, Pinks & Purples. And more, and more, and more.

New Tracks Weekend is launched at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Shoutcast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!

Incognito excellence: DKFM face masks are available for a limited time here!
More merch options in the DKFM Gear Shop, if you didn’t get what you really wanted this holiday.
