New Tracks Weekend, March 12-14
Written by admin on March 12, 2021
We are surely packed with fresh sounds. Headliners include Philly’s Doused, whose Murmur LP doesn’t arrive for a month yet, but every single released in advance is laser-targeted to ears like ours. We think you’ll agree, these folks speak our sonic language. But we’re deep into new releases from Sparkshimmer, Mint Julep, SOM, The Real Sea, Sunken, and Time Travel Ban (might hear comparison to Me You Us Them, and you’d not be wrong). But the rabbithole goes so much deeper. We’re spinning up Nax, White Cold Desert, Waitress, Elenin, Vallens, The Devil and Her Chauffer, Terry vs. Tori, Telever, Meena, Tearjerker, Semihelix, Lapse, SCHONWALD, Los Kowalski, The Sugar Petals, Rose Brokenshire, Secret Flowers, Become The Sky, Faintlife, Bolywool, Remington super 60, Axolotes Mexicanos and much more.
And that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including Miners, Field Mouse, Spotlight Kid, Echodrone, The Stargazer Lilies, Reveries, Graywave, All Eyes, Moon Museum, 시크릿 아시안 맨 Secret Asian Men, Rinse, mourning collective, Jesop, Wy, The Starlit Hues, White Cold Desert, Rýk, The Leontini Vernacular, Hayien, Kai Tak, Fuzzed Out, Elephants and Dogs, Adiós Cometa, Corduroy, Zorrrya, Arctic Lights and more. We’ll play every song we can fit!
New Tracks Weekend is launched at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Icecast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!
And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!
