DKFM The buzzing in your ears is completely natural.
Another Bandcamp Friday, and budgets are being busted all across the world. No matter, we’ve got a bushel of new and exciting releases to share this weekend, even if you didn’t max out your credit card on new music. We’ve got beloved names like Highspire, Lightfoils, and Pink Breath of Heaven (pictured above), along with compelling new sounds from Yndling, PANIK FLOWER, Slow Salvation, Flatwaves, Starling, Finger Food, and Say Sue Me. But there’s so much more to celebrate, including new sounds from Origami Phase, Space Waves, Japanese Heart Software, Vivid Bloom, Ellis, Soft Palms, Nature Trip, Eloise Chamber, Swear and more. We’re more than loaded up for the weekend’s festivities.
nd all that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including Softcult, Murmure, Count The Clock, Dramatics, la lune, KILDREN, she’s green, The Blue Herons, supergloom, The Dreamtoday, Thelma’s Dream, Velvet, All Sparks Burn Out, somesurprises, Swiss Disease, Scarlet House, softlightsymphony, Sugar For The Pill, Our Worlds Collide, SALVIA, Luster, Royal Arch, The Foams and more. More music than weekend, but we’re up for the challenge.
New Tracks Weekend is begun at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Live365, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Limited beta: we’re now up on Mixcloud Live, website AND app, if that’s a thing you’d dig. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!
And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!
