New Tracks Weekend, May 3-5

We’re a tad behind in bringing you the brightest and freshest, so allow us to get you caught up: we’re chuffed to roll out the new releases from No Suits in Miami (pictured above, photo credit: Jasmine Freij), plus healthy doses of Stranger Kings, Lowly, So Totally, Starflyer 59, Sidewave, Versing, and Spotlights. All of these have put out new albums (or at least extended EPs) that inhabit lovely corners of the genres we love so dearly. But that’s not all… we’re long on new music from Slowness, Moon Panda, Nurse, Charivari and much more.

And that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh injections, including Rubur, Chkbns, Lilac, Sunlotus, flowerbed, The City Gates, Colourway, Car Crash Sisters, Domiciles, The Pink Elephants, Planet Loser, Film School, L.D. Moses, Tiny Fighter, El Glum, Moon Loves Honey, Youth, Pencey Sloe, Telever, Soon She Said, Calmly, Blackpool Astronomy, Sombre… we’re overbooked and overwhelmed. So much sparkle to share!

New Tracks Weekend is begun 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Shoutcast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!

New stuff in the shop: mugs, shirts, hats and more!
