Fresh and fancy sounds abound this weekend, and we’re a tad bit too excited to share what we’ve curated for you. Clear headliners: Fleeting Joys, whose All Lost Eyes and Glitter LP is unleashed upon the world tomorrow. As said in another forum, it’s the holiday gift we didn’t know we needed. Part classic Fleeting Joys swirl, mixed with some classic Beach Boys and Moody Blues harmonics, broadened out to be accessible to the widest possible audience, it’s a triumph. Don’t be surprised to see some Albums of 2021 lists jostled and upended in the resulting shockwaves. And that’s just our top line assault on your eardrums this weekend. We’re over the moon about the latest singles from Softcult, Couples Therapy, PETSEMATARY, Blush, and Stomp Talk Modstone. We’re packed with Indoor Voices, MØAA, chlorine, Old Moon, did you die, Whirling, Terra Pines, WE. THE PIGS, Casino Garden, Fawns of Love, Tacsidermi & Sister Wives, Cecilia::Eyes, Monte Terror, Happypills, Saints Amongst Sinners, Pierre and much more. We have your weekend blissfully covered.

And that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including Blankenberge, Horsegirl, Deserta, SPC ECO, Annie Hamilton, Sun June, Bridge Dog, The Blue Herons, Momma, Colatura, Lunarette, Dama Scout, Just Mustard, Echo of the Low Light, Fir Cone Children, Errunhurd, In Parallel, Shun and more. Let’s go, there’s so much to discover!

New Tracks Weekend is launched at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Icecast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Limited beta: we’re now up on Mixcloud Live, website AND app, if that’s a thing you’d dig. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support.

HOLIDAY DEADLINES APPROACH:  Check the DKFM Gear Shop for great casualwear and accessories, and support DKFM at the same time… WIN/WIN!

New Tracks Weekend

New Tracks Weekend, November 19-21, 2021

Sparkling weekend planned, surely something to be thankful for. It begins with the new album release from Blankenberge (pictured above) that we've been shouting about for weeks now. It seems that there's a slate of heavy-hitting albums to be unleashed in the last months of 2021, likely to be vying for Album of the Year, and Everything makes a strong case for the title here. We're surprised and thrilled to […]
