New Tracks Weekend, November 30 – December 2

Written by on December 1, 2018

We are fully overbooked for the weekend, filled beyond capacity with the newest releases. No matter that we broke the website twice in the last week, lost a month’s worth of data, pushed our first three-hour Mixcloud-only special in the past week… all of that is tangential to the point: we’re flush to the gills with new sound and color, and we’ll entertain you to the best of our ability all weekend. First among headliners: Sleepwalk (pictured above), who have quietly dropped a strong candidate for album of the year with Splatter. Not even open for debate, this tuneful slab of fuzz will be under serious consideration for the crown among aficionados of the genre. But we’re pushing a large raft of newness: Dopedrone, Happy Nothing, Velveteen (pre-release gems, at that!), Chasms, Men I Trust, Coaches, Me Not You, Apartamentos Acapulco, NONN, Outlander, The Ex-Optimists, Alles Club, Balms, Luster, fwit, Glace, Contrast, Beauty Sleep, Rei Clone, True Sleeper, Steeple Remove, NIIGHTS, Broken Little Sister, Once Grace Forever, and so much more!
New Tracks Weekend kicks off 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continuing through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM,  on Shoutcast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Plus we have our NEW branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! Or load up the “Internet Radio” tab of your iTunes desktop client, and you’ll find DKFM Shoegaze Radio under ‘Alternative’. We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!
And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!
Check out the brand new updated DKFM apps for iOS and Android here!
