End of October, and we’ve got spooky sonic treats on tap! Not only are we celebrating a Japanese resurgence with a new single from The Florist, and a new album from softsurf (pictured above), we’re also celebrating the rework of some classic early Seasurfer material, new Turning Violet, Boo Boo Spoiler, Work Wife, and the new collaboration from Helicon and Al Lover (not Ed Lover, that’s Yo MTV Raps). But there’s SO much more, including new sounds from Old Coke, a world premiere from Cochlear Kill, plus Vivienne Eastwood, Poloklubben, Slow Country, FiiZY, montegrande, Kristiane, happyvoid, Killgurls, Die Tired, CORAL, Oranje, glass egg and more. We’ll stuff your music bucket full for as long as the clock allows.

And all that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including Softcult, Alonekitty, bellweather, Drop Nineteens, Kallai, Diffident Daffodils, Found Space, Leaving Time, Peel Dream Magazine, Maud Anyways, The Quality of Mercury, Cold Equations, Future Theory, In The Afterglow, Tycho (feat. Paul Banks), Pálida Tez, The Virginia Planes, Luje, Floor Cry, No Suits in Miami, Future Nostalgia, Marni, Worm School, Marts and more. So let’s light it up!

New Tracks Weekend is begun at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Limited beta: we’re now up on Mixcloud Live, website AND app, if that’s a thing you’d dig. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!

New stickers!
