New Tracks Weekend, September 28-30

Written by on September 29, 2018

We are literally overloaded. There’s so much great new music, it won’t fit. We’ll shove it all in and press it down anyway. From Philly’s always compelling Crown of Pity, to Austin’s continuing reverb dominance, in the imprint of Dottie (pictured above), there’s a veritable plethora of exceptional new tunes, and we’re thrilled to share ’em. True facts. There’s even a surprise new single from Niights, as a teaser from a forthcoming sophomore album HELLEBORES. Who knew? Well, we do now! The brilliant new LP from Slow Crush is now finally out, as well as impressive releases from Den-Mate, San Mei, Galaxy Fingers, Lorigun, Kikagaku Moyo, Another Green World, Biltmore Dive, Chasms, bed, COCO, ease, Emerald Springs, Free Games For May, Galants, Haiku Garden, Herlights, Kill the Moose, Knives, Lights That Change, Lo! Peninsula, Manon meurt, Medicine Boy, Memory Leak, Prince Bunny, Ruby Haunt, She Makes War, Sobrenadar, Starframes, Statues, Swimming Tapes, The Age of Colored Lizards, T.G. Shand, trauma ray, Violet Waves, and Zombie Girlfriend. Plus we’ve been shouting about the Part Time Punks Session from Lavender Blush, who are poised for full breakout. And that’s just the stuff we can remember!
New Tracks Weekend kicks off 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continuing through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM,  on Shoutcast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Plus we have our NEW branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! Or load up the “Internet Radio” tab of your iTunes desktop client, and you’ll find DKFM Shoegaze Radio under ‘Alternative’. You can even keep up with the new tracks and artists you may have missed, as we’re live-tweeting every track on our sub-Twitter DKFMTracks account, and we’re live-scrobbling once again via Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!
And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!
