It’s pre-release (and World Premiere) weekend on DKFM! We’ll kick off with some choice cuts from the upcoming Maria False LP, When, due May 4 on A Quick One Records. An amazing return to form for the lads from Rennes, and some of the best songs they’ve ever done. Then thrill to the madness of Aporia Daze, the second LP from Crown the Invisible, due April 28th. We’ve been buzzing about this for daze (see what we did there?), and reviewed the album earlier this week. Now you can hear what we’re buzzing about. And the third jewel in our pre-release crown is the Chandelier EP from Austin’s Ask For Joy, due April 20. You can always count on Aaron of Ask For Joy to reimagine classic tracks in a fresh and compelling manner, often more shimmering and sonically brilliant than the originals. We’ll also be spinning the pre-release single from Portland’s Wishyunu, welcoming this duo’s dreamy sounds back to our airwaves. And that’s just the pre-release stuff we’re spinning this weekend!

Add to that some most impressive new music from This Social Coil, Yeti Island, Wolf Alice, Aerial Love Feed, Velódromo, This Love Is Deadly, City of Me, Moon King, Single Lash, Astrobrite, and Maff. We’ll add these choice cuts to our current stable of fresh treats from Reina Republicana, Death of the Author, La Casa al Mare, Sunset Images, Weird, The Lost Jackets, Tibican, Blonde Tongues, SPC ECO, Marriages, Echo Lake, Twin Studies, Noir For Rachel, Garbo, CJM, The Marbles Jackson, Reverse, Allegra Lusini, dodecahedron, Daydream Cathedral, Coloring Electric Like and MUCH more.

8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continuing through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Live365 listeners: it’s your votes that count! Your thumbs-up / thumbs down ratings determine what is kept in permanent rotation. Listen via the Live365 station page at DKFM, on iTunes Internet Radio under “Eclectic”, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Latin America relay: try Radio Terra. And still commercial-free everywhere! You can even keep up with the new tracks and artists you may have missed: we’re live-scrobbling via our last.fm profile. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed.

Win the radio, win the weekend.
