Fresh, shiny and new! This weekend brings a ton of new and pre-release music to delight your earholes. Headlining this weekend is Nevermind Me, with two unreleased tracks from their upcoming split with San Francisco scene stalwarts Airs. About to embark on a multi-city tour, Nevermind Me have stepped up their game, and are producing some of the most compelling music they’ve ever done. And you’ll hear it here first. But that’s not all! New tunes from Melbourne’s Del Boca Vista, with some lo-fi excellence that will spin your head around. Standout tracks: “Green” and “All My Friends”.
But we won’t stop there! Several intricate slices of dreamy joy from Scotland’s Very Very Small Inclusions. Fresh, bright, sparkly. And speaking of sparkly… Spökraket In a Witch Forest now out on Cable Hell Records. A 14-month recording odyssey brings some impressive new psychgaze that really shines. This will be the first vinyl release for Cable Hell, and it’s a jewel. Speaking of jewels, Noise Nebula from Madrid, Spain have just released their Hibernia EP, and it’s a twisted, noisy gem.
But there’s brand new (and torrid) Depth & Current out! New singles from etti/etta, Belle Mare and colourwaves! Impressive EPs from Fever Dream and Dear Tracks! And of course the sonic thrashing of The Spectres, out now on Sonic Cathedral. The new album from The Black Ryder, naturally. Plus Mumrunner, Echodrone, Venera 4, A Place to Bury Strangers, Future, Manon Meurt, Morels, Star Tropics, FLVKE, Crystal Shipsss, The Spectors, Salsa Cinderella and more. So much stuff, there’s too many words on this damn page. [shutting up now]
8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continuing through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others.
