Happy weekend! We’ve polished up the shiny songs for long-term listening, and we’re cueing them up for you. We’ve been honored to feature the world premiere of the new single from Crème Fouettée, “Back Home” this week, in advance of their January 22nd release. You can expect to hear it much more often this weekend, and a hearty welcome back! It’s been too long. We’ll be heavily featuring new music from Brooklyn’s Exiles, new EP released just last week. An amazing, otherworldly sound you’ll want to check into. The new single from Snowball II, album coming shortly. Plus new spins from Lubec, Tuath, Milan’s sparkling Hidden Hind, Soft Wounds‘ new single, a noisy but tuneful racket from Jo Passed, music from She-Devils, Cave Shine, The Spoiled, and SPOOL (スプール). Rather a lot, really.
That’s not to neglect jewels from Wray, LSD and the Search for God, Indoor Voices, Swiimers, and the amazing tunes of Barcelona’s We. the Pigs (caused quite a stir last weekend, for sure).
New Tracks Weekend kicks off 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continuing through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Listen via the Radionomy station page at DKFM, on Shoutcast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. You can even keep up with the new tracks and artists you may have missed: we’re live-scrobbling via our last.fm profile, and live-tweeting every track on our sub-Twitter DKFMTracks account. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed.
And, as always, thank you for listening, and thank you for your support!
