This weekend we’re proud to prominently feature pre-release Strata Florida, from the upcoming Static Waves 3 compilation, due just over a week from now on Saint Marie Records. It’s a glittering jewel that melds her original Swallow colours with shadings from The Cure and Xmal Deutschland, yet remains fully original. Add to this the frenetic energy of Wozniak, the breezy textures of Omega Vague, the return of Mexico’s mighty Car Crash Sisters (proving what we were saying about them all along!), and brand new choice pre-release cuts from Aire Espacial (in our own backyard, no less). Not to be outdone, we’re happy to feature some back catalogue from Japan’s amazing Magic Love, some impressive remixes of Ummagma and Sounds of Sputnik, new Gazar Strips, Klozapin, Vladimir, Glintshake, Sloth Scamper and much, Much, MUCH more.

Flying by the seat of our pants here, as we’re simultaneously co-presenting Be Forest, Tennis System and Desario in Sacramento via LLW Presents and Record Club Sacramento. It’s a party, and probably our biggest event of the year. If you’re anywhere in the area, this is a show you won’t want to miss. We promise magic. And we don’t make that promise lightly.

8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continuing through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Live365 listeners: it’s your votes that count! Your thumbs-up / thumbs down ratings determine what is kept in permanent rotation. Listen via the Live365 station page at DKFM, on iTunes Internet Radio under “Eclectic”, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Latin America relay: try Radio Terra. And still commercial-free everywhere! You can even keep up with the new tracks and artists you may have missed: we’re live-scrobbling via our profile. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed.
