When there’s so much new music to promote that we can’t even keep our dates straight? That’s a helluva month. And we’re topping last week already (but we’ll keep dates accurate this time). Airiel and Miniatures headline. Both albums dropping soon, surely you’ve preordered by now? But we’ve also been granted a few choice cuts from The Morelings debut LP, dropping next week. If we haven’t gotten you excited about Same Century yet, you may be listening to the wrong station. Plus, new music from Kindling, Lazy Day, Leones, Pink Milk, Poolshop, DoZzz, Medicine (not technically new, but the reissue counts), Tangible Rays, Citrus Clouds, Corasandel, Biltmore Dive, Magic Mountain, Cascadia Fault Line, FireFly, Outward, Bright As Yellow, Close Encounter, Wild Meadows, Swanhoppers, and the ever-sparkling Makaras Pen, in advance of their forthcoming EP. Plus, we’ll drag out a few classic chestnuts from Plums, who bring the jangle. Done and done!

That’s not to overlook last weekend’s new treasures, including MidNightSun, When The Sun Hits, Black Needle Noise, Swimming Tapes, Seeing Hands, Palm Haze, No Kill, Lacing, Death Bells, Auburn Lull, Silver Liz, 93millionmilesfromthesun, PolyAnna, Outward, Burn The Louvre, The Orchids, Volunteer Cheerleader, Ella Atlas, Alvvays, The Prids, Sun Colony and more! More music than weekend, naturally.

New Tracks Weekend kicks off 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continuing through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station page at DKFM,  on Shoutcast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOSAndroid and Blackberry: listeners can vote thumbs-up/thumbs-down on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! Or load up the “Internet Radio” tab of your iTunes desktop client, and you’ll find DKFM Shoegaze Radio under ‘Alternative’. You can even keep up with the new tracks and artists you may have missed, as we’re live-tweeting every track on our sub-Twitter DKFMTracks account. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!

So much new, right now. We’re going long with the full LP from Newmoon (possibly our most anticipated release of the year), and that’d be enough to implode your weekend. But noooooo. The return of Vivienne Eastwood practically demands your attention, plus new music from station faves Angel Falls, Citrus Clouds, Starcleaner, Ghost Lake, Winter, Tape Deck Mountain, Teen Brains, Kimono Lights, and Golden Gardens, as well as new-to-us magic from The Beremy Jets, Dama Scout, Hood, Rainboard. Plus, a few premiere cuts from the forthcoming Echolust LP, which will damn sure get your motor humming. Finally, the return of C86 stalwarts The Wolfhounds, with three choice cuts that crossover into all your favorite genres. We’re packed solid, I’m telling you!

Of course, we’re still deep Kestrels, as well as Genders, Scarlina, Tearjerker, Arbes, Blossom, Slowly, Flyying Colours, True Widow, Pabst, Angelic Milk, Tosk, Alcest and The Infinite Seas.

Remember: your vote counts via the DKFM app! Thumbs up / thumbs down in the app helps us to know what stays and what goes. You support the station, you shape the sound.

All of the new. So much so, this could be a long first paragraph. New Tracks Weekend brings new full LPs from Sulk and Sales, EPs from Jambox, Movie Brain, Hellens and Screamfeeder, plus new music from Nothing, Miserable, Frankenstein Bolts, Acapulco Lips, Brass Bed, Future Myth, Globelamp, High Climbers, Japanese Breakfast, KinZie, Lake Ruth, Map of the Moon, Swotlab, Ultra Material, Vet Trip, Wild Meadows, Vlimmer, Citrus Clouds, Mercury Girls, The Stargazer Lilies, Hideous Towns, LUST, a brilliant Be Forest cover from NAX, and a liberal sprinkling of tracks from TBTCI Records’ Boo Radleys tribute compilation, out last week. And that’s just the stuff we remember!

That’s not to ignore last weekend’s shiny new adds from Brief Candles, Hermetic Delight, Beverly, Life on Venus, Saint God, HYLA, Code Ascending, Panda Panda and The Fakes. Stir in Lush, Miniatures, Bloody Knives, and Joy Formidable, we’re overbooked, and exploding with new music. It’s a great weekend to stay inside (or at least to take us with you).
