Dark Bells – Wildflower

From London via Sydney, Dark Bells are soon to present one of the most anticipated singles of the year in ‘Wildflower’. Borrowing from the shoegaze / psych axis can sometimes sound hacky and derivative. Dark Bells has already put the world on notice they are not to be dismissed so easily. The guitars naturally ring out before charging into the propulsive rhythms, and you know you’ve reached a higher plane. Each layer builds on the one before in a beautiful soup of blissful tone and harmony.
Recently signed to new indie label Tape Club Records, the single is realsed on May 6th as part of Tape Club’s Single Series. If this is how the label launches, expect great things for both Dark Bells and Tape Club Records going forward.
